I’m Marc. I help owners and small teams take recurring administrative work out of private checklists and put it into a process people can see, use and recover.
I can follow one business rule all the way through.
My work has crossed software development, product delivery, technical operations, prototyping and teaching. That range is useful when a seemingly simple rule has to survive several tools, a handoff and the awkward case nobody wrote down.
I start with recent work. A real enquiry, onboarding or approval shows where information came from, who made the decision and what happened when something was missing. The software choice comes later.
You work with me directly. There is no separate discovery team and no support desk learning the process after it launches.
Useful automation should make responsibility easier to see.
Stable rules belong in ordinary automation. AI can help where inputs vary, such as sorting a message or extracting fields from an inconsistent document. It still needs a boundary, a check and somewhere to send uncertainty.
I keep consequential judgement with an accountable person. The point is to bring that person a complete case, then move the approved work without another round of copying and chasing.
This is the same practical scepticism I brought to a TEDxValletta talk about balancing ambition with scrutiny in AI. The question is not whether a tool looks impressive. It is whether the process can be understood when Tuesday goes wrong.
The boundary is deliberate.
I work on systemic operations automation: one recurring process, its handoffs, the working build and the care agreed for that process. I do not offer general IT support for every tool in a business.
Provider outages remain the provider’s responsibility, though I can diagnose their effect on the process and help it recover. A new outcome, rule or branch is priced as a new engagement. That keeps maintenance predictable and new work visible.
